Food Storage blog and "The Event"

Horizon Ridge Relief Society Sisters,

We would like to invite all of our sisters to visit our new Blog Spot, created by our Food Storage Specialists, Jacquie Bollinger, and Mitzi McCulloch. You will find helpful information on Food Storage, Emergency Preparedness and Money Saving Tips! Each month there will be a new theme and a challenge to motivate each of us to start working on our food storage! Don't put it off....www.hrfoodstoragesisters.blogspot.com

We would also like to ask for your help in assisting us pull together our first ever Church Prom "The Event", which will include youth ages 16-18 (You must be 16 by March 25 to participate) from the Warm Springs and Paradise stakes , Black Mountain Stake, and of course the Anthem Stake. It is our hope that parents will encourage their youth to participate as this Prom promises to be a great evening for all who attend.

We each have a chance to help make this wonderful event a success...you do not have to have a child attending to help! So, if you feel like you could help by providing a dinner for 4-6 couples on March 25th, or you have items which you could donate(prom, or black tie dress(es), shoes, accessories, suit(s), dress shirts, ties, or dress shoes to help make this night a night to be remembered by some of our youth who cannot afford to purchase their own, we would appreciate your help. Remember our youth come in all sizes and shapes, and we will have a seamstress on hand to work with the donations and make it modest, of adjust it so it will fit someone! If you have questions, please feel free to contact Michelle Alber at 349-7428 or email me at michellealber@cox.net.
