For February's Book Club we chatted about
Escape from Rwanda: A true story of faith, hope, and survival by John Yves Bizimana. What inspirational story about a boy and his enduring trials with the assistance of "angels" (as Paula states). If you were unable to make the meeting, and you would like to share your comment, please just click "comment" at the end of this post. If you haven't read the book, you still have time to read it (a quick read) and post your comment as well!
We also discussed optional books for the future. If you have any suggestions, please email me at
mariebindrup@gmail.com and I will add your suggestion to the list. Please make sure that the book is appropriate for a RS activity.
Our book for March is....In the Company of Cheerful Ladies: The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency Volume 6 by McCall Smith. The discussion for this book will be on Thursday, March 3rd at Marie Bindrup's home- 171 Coyote Hills Street. Even though you may not be able to attend, you can read the book and post a comment or send me an email with your comment and we can share them during the discussion. Happy reading!
